At TLC Landscaping, we put a focus on community and make an effort to bring our team together to have fun and do some good on a regular basis. Our team is a tight-knit family dedicated to their work and the company, and we believe that building relationships within our team is essential to helping our business and our employees thrive.
To show you just how we do that, here are some of the typical events we hold and take part in as a team every year:
- Monthly breakfasts and barbecues provide our team with delicious catered meals where we hold conversations about the latest safety standards, provide updates about the business and allow employees to share personal news.
- Family Day in February involves going to Fleetway Fun in London for bowling and arcades. It’s always a great day for parents and children of all ages.
- In July, we typically hold a team picnic at East Park in London with go karts, bumper cars, a water park and a catered lunch.
- We take the team to a Blue Jays game in August, where we sit in the 200 section and enjoy a catered breakfast, as well as providing the transportation there and back.
- Fun Day in September is a day when we take the team for paintballing, pool, bowling and lunch — the activity varies each year!
- We hold our annual Food Drive in September, which we have done for eleven years now. We collect food from our condo clients and raised over $20,000 this past year for our local food back in London.
- In October, we treat the team to a London Knights game where we rent out a box and provide snacks throughout the game. Children and partners are welcome!
- In late November, we hold our Christmas party to celebrate the holiday season as a group. It’s the perfect event to cap off a year full of social activities at TLC Landscaping.
